What’s new this year at Seavista
After our Winter break in the snow and a cheeky little holiday to sunny Costa Rica, we’ve started the new season at Seavista with some exciting new things!
Each year, we love to introduce new features to give our guests that little extra to make their stay special and unforgettable. We’re all about attention to detail and high quality service but above all, we want you to feel relaxed and at home.
And it’s not just the little things. We’ve made some bigger changes to reflect our love of chilled out coastal living!
Here’s 5 new things to expect during your stay at Seavista in 2017;
Breakfast items
Inspired by our travels and love of health-conscious eating, we’ve added some gorgeous treats to our already varied breakfast menu.
French toast was a favourite in Costa Rica so we’ve put a Seavista spin on it! Our new maple and vanilla french toast is topped with Greek yoghurt, fresh berries with a sprinkle of toasted nuts. A decadent treat to start the day!
Next up, our chia pudding. It’s simple, delicious and packed with protein, nutrients and natural antioxidants. Ours includes banana, blueberries, berries, granola and maple syrup. It will fuel you up for a day of exploring Cornwall!
Locally sourced produce
We want to give you an authentic taste of Cornwall and we firmly believe in supporting local businesses. This year, we’ve introduced organic bread from Baker Tom. We use malthouse, sourdough and seeded spelt and feature a ‘bread of the day’ throughout your stay!
We’ve also introduced speciality coffee from sustainable Cornish roasters Olfactory and their decadent SMALT hot chocolate. Guaranteed to start your day with a smile!
Homemade foods
We love cooking and sharing our homemade recipes with guests. To accompany that delicious Baker Tom bread we make our own marmalades and jams using seasonal produce and high quality organic pantry items. Think fig, caramelised pear, pineapple, strawberry and our current favourite, passion fruit and orange!
And to go with that evening drink while you relax in our guest lounge, our homemade organic maple and cinnamon roasted nuts are ideal to snack on.
New interiors
Those big changes we mentioned? Rooms 5 and 6 have had a makeover! We’ve brought the outside in by introducing coastal colours (sea blues and purple thrift) with a cool and funky look to reflect the guest lounge area. Mid-century furniture meets modern with products by Loaf Home and Cornish blanket and throw company Atlantic Blankets.
We love sourcing eclectic pieces that reflect our love of travel. Our parrot mirror from favourite Graham and Green adds a quirky feel to our bar area along with our fun new neon cocktail sign. Rumour has it that it can be seen from across the valley – it’s really that vibrant!
Garden
We’ve got a thing about succulents! These hugely popular exotic plants are pretty hardy and add splashes of colour to any indoor and outdoor area.
They also reflect coastal living perfectly so we’re adding to our growing collection. We’re taking the inside outdoors so you’ll notice lots of potted succulents on our decking area. So if you want to escape the crowds on the beach, chill out on our decking amongst the greenery and admire our stunning sea view!
Holistic spa therapies
Our in-room holistic therapies have really taken off this year! They’re perfect for checking in and chilling out in style. With no need to leave Seavista for your treatment, you can continue to relax afterwards in your room and feel the effects of some much needed ‘me’ time!
Janie, our spa therapist offers massages and facials using Seavista’s favourite Neal’s Yard products – natural organic health and beauty items that are ethical and not tested on animals.
We’ve currently got vacancies on various dates approaching the Summer. We’d love to share our exciting new changes with you so why not book your break now.
Look forward to seeing you soon!
Big love
